Dr Rafiq is responsible for overall medical leadership of Med-Co Secure Healthcare Services Ltd and has many years of experience in secure environments.
Practicing with RCGP Part 2 Substance Misuse Management training, he has over 10 years experience in delivering evidence based treatments in Substance Misuse both in Prison settings and community practice.
His work involves providing prescribing assessments to opiate, stimulant, tranquilliser, alcohol dependent clients, and those with novel psychoactive substance use.
Ehsan is also a partner in a modern NHS GP practice, a GP trainer, GP appraiser and special advisor to the CQC.
